Scott has been teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in classrooms and online for over 20 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the USA and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Australia. Scott loves teaching and his passion is preparing students for English tests. Scott began the highly successful www.scottsenglish.com in 2004 which quickly became the world’s Number 1 IELTS preparation website helping many thousands of students in every country around the world. In order to help IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC students improve in well-known test problem areas, Scott and his team launched www.scottsenglishplus.com and answers.scottsenglish.com.
At Scott’s English Success we believe that sitting and listening to an IELTS teacher speaking for a long time is boring so we created a fun and exciting way to prepare for the IELTS online! Scott’s English Success contains everything you need to get ready for the IELTS test – you do not need to spend endless hours trying to find the information you need by surfing the internet or watching long, uninteresting YouTube videos.
Even though our course offers many practice tests, many students asked if we had any additional, practice materials that focussed on test problem areas – for example, True/False/Not Given, Listening and taking notes, identifying numbers and spelling, punctuation and others. As both a teacher and a teacher-trainer, Scott is the highly qualified educator of Scott's English Success. Having completed his Bachelor of Arts in Texas, USA, Scott returned to Queensland, Australia and completed his Masters of Education (M.Ed) in English as a Second Language (ESL) Curriculum Design.
Since 1992 Scott has taught all levels of English language instruction from Elementary to IELTS preparation courses. Scott has extensive ESL course and program design experience having implemented ESL programs in High Schools and in Second Language Learning Institutes.
Mark Robertson B.Bus.
Mark directs the business and marketing activities of Mascot Corporation. Mark has an extensive background in information technology and business development, having managed and directed technology companies since 1985.
Mark has a Bachelor of Business with Majors in Marketing and Information Technology. Mark has a special interest in developing and using computer and internet based technologies for teaching and training.
